Privacy policy

Red Star Renovations ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through redstarrenos.com, in line with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL).

What we collect

When you submit a form, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email, project address or postal code, and details about your project. We also record the page you submitted from, your IP address, and — if you reached us from an online advert — the advertising click identifier attached to that visit, so we can tell which adverts bring us genuine enquiries. Our web host may also keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security purposes.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to your request, prepare an estimate, and carry out and support any work you hire us for. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Sharing

We only share information with parties who need it to deliver your project, such as suppliers or, with your permission, your insurance adjuster, or when required by law.

Retention & security

Enquiries are stored on our web host in Canada or the United States and are readable only by Red Star Renovations staff through a password-protected page. We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above and for our legal and warranty obligations. The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to be contacted, by emailing info@redstarrenos.com or calling (403) 918-6675.

Cookies

Essential: we store two small items in your browser — your cookie choice, and, if you arrived from an online advert, that advert's click identifier so it can be attached to your enquiry. Neither is used to track you across other websites.

Analytics and advertising: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use this site, and Google Ads conversion measurement to see which adverts lead to enquiries. These load on every page but start in a denied state: until you choose “Accept all”, no analytics or advertising cookies are written and no advertising identifiers are shared with Google. If you accept, Google may process this data under Google's privacy policy, including on servers outside Canada.

Embedded content: our service-area page shows an embedded Google Map so you can see where we work. It loads only after you choose to accept, and Google may set cookies when it does.

You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer of any page, or by clearing your browser's site data. Declining does not affect your ability to contact us or use any part of this site.
