How the hail claim process works

  1. Inspection

We inspect your roof, siding, windows and eavestroughs and photograph everything.

  2. File your claim

You open a claim with your insurer. We give you the documentation to support it.

  3. Adjuster visit

We can meet your adjuster on site so nothing gets missed.

  4. Repairs

Once approved, we complete the work and back it with our 15-year warranty.

What hail damage looks like

  • Dark spots or bruises on shingles
  • Granule loss exposing the mat
  • Dented vents, flashing and eavestrough
  • Cracked or holed vinyl siding
  • Chipped paint or dents on fibre cement
  • Damaged window screens and frames

Don't wait too long. Most home insurance policies have time limits for reporting damage, and small hail bruises can turn into leaks within a season. If you think you were hit, get an inspection while it's fresh.

Hail claim FAQ

Is the damage inspection free?

Yes. We'll inspect and tell you honestly whether it's worth filing a claim. If the damage is minor, we'll tell you that too.

Do I have to use the contractor my insurer suggests?

In most cases, no. You can usually choose your own contractor. Check your policy or ask your adjuster.

What will I pay out of pocket?

Typically your deductible, plus any upgrades you choose beyond like-for-like replacement, such as impact-resistant shingles. We'll explain the numbers clearly before work starts.
