Why winter is a good time to renovate inside
Exterior trades slow down once the weather turns, which is exactly why interior work books well from November through March. The job happens indoors, and projects started in winter are finished before the spring rush, when the same crews are booked out on roofs and siding.
If your project includes exterior work too, we'll plan the interior now and schedule the outside portion for spring as part of the same contract.

Can you renovate in winter in Calgary?
Yes, for interior work. Kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, layout changes and finishing all happen indoors and carry on through the winter. Exterior work such as roofing and siding is weather-dependent and is normally scheduled for spring.
Can I live in the house during the renovation?
For most projects, yes. We contain dust to the work zone and clean up daily. For whole-home jobs with no working kitchen or bathroom, we'll tell you honestly how many weeks that will be so you can plan.
Do I need permits?
